So, I was thinking about credit cards. Yep, that is what I do when I can’t fall asleep at night. I sit back and think to myself about the glories and blunders of the great credit cards!
Anyway, I was thinking about how nice it is to be able to use a credit card and have the protection that it provides AND still be able to pay it off every month. I am very good at being frugal and I rarely over-spend. In fact, I probably under spend quite a lot!
That being said, I really like the fact that I can just set my bank up to auto-pay my credit card bill and then just check it out later to make sure I’m good to go.
This is hilarious! I was laughing out loud! This is exactly what banks and just about every retailer are always pushing.
If anyone offers you a credit card with ancillary bonuses, you must be firm and say no. This guy was clearly too nice. If you’re that nice, you will soon be buried in debt and ‘married’ to your bank! Watch out!
So, I’ve said this before on this site: If you can’t get a credit card – don’t!
If you can’t get one, there is probably a good reason for that. It probably means that you’re not old enough or you don’t have the discipline to use one properly without having some serious issues.
This video is one example of how people can get caught up losing a lot of money by trying to get a credit card. This girl is really targeting young kids who want to be all grown up and buy things on the internet. This leads them to buy pre-paid credit cards which tend to come with some massive fees. Aka waste of money.
I really do not understand why people are always posting stuff like this on the internet and covering it in the news. It’s like inviting more thieves to learn how to steal. Well, I’m about to post it, so I guess I’m a bit of a hypocrite 🙂
Anyway, I thought this was an interesting video about how to fake a credit card.
I am hoping that most of my readers will never click on a link like the one advertised in the video below. This video has some tell tale signs of being an online credit card scam. It looks like they are trying to lure you in for something to take your money.
I don’t know for sure if it is a scam, but it is always best to avoid things like this to be safe. Why don’t I know? Because I avoided clicking on it 🙂
You should avoid it too. So, I’m posting it here to help you stay educated on potential credit card scams and what to look out for:
People with really bad can’t get regular credit cards. People who file bankruptcy also can’t get regular credit cards either. This is because they are very risky to the credit companies. However, those should probably shop around and be absolutely sure to read the fine print so that they don’t get totally screwed by paying way too much.
